Purpose of the Interclub Sessions:

The goal of these interclub sessions is to augment the regular training your athletes receive with their home clubs. By bringing skaters from different clubs together, we aim to foster an environment of collaboration, skill development, and competitive spirit. These sessions will offer exposure to different coaching styles, new training techniques, and a chance to train with a variety of athletes at similar skill levels.

Key Benefits for Your Athletes:

  • Enhanced Competition Readiness: Prepares skaters for varied competition by training with peers from other clubs.
  • Increased Motivation: New peers challenge athletes to push their limits and stay focused
  • Broadened Skill Set: Exposure to different coaches and techniques improves overall abilities.
  • Community and Team-Building: These sessions promote camaraderie and build relationships across clubs, strengthening the broader skating community.
  • Access to Equipment Maintenance: Through SSA’s rockering machine

The sessions will be run by an SSA appointed coach or club representative and will also provide an opportunity for coaches to work together and learn from each other.

We are confident that these sessions will be a valuable supplement to your athletes’ regular training, offering unique growth opportunities both on and off the ice. If you have any questions or need further information, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

We look forward to seeing your skaters on the ice for these exciting sessions!
